Data & Site Changelog

This changelog summarizes meaningful public changes to nutrition-data handling, current-menu coverage, calculator trust behavior, and editorial transparency. Internal engineering-only build details are intentionally omitted.

October 2026

  • Consolidated our editorial standards into a single public page, and added a disclosure on AI-assisted writing tools: AI may assist with drafting and organization, but published nutrition values are always checked against our dataset and official sources, with human review before publication.
  • Methodology & Data Sources now shows an explicit last-reviewed date (September 17, 2026), set to match its last substantive revision — our policy is that review dates change only when content actually changes.
  • Added a structured “Report a Nutrition Data Issue” form to the Corrections page (alongside email), asking for the item, the disputed value, and the official source checked — corrections are verified against official sources before anything changes.

September 2026

  • Expanded field-level provenance across all 163 tracked nutrition records and rechecked the March 2025 legacy table with no unexplained transcription drift.
  • Separated unavailable nutrients from verified zero values so missing data is not treated as zero in totals, filters, rankings, swaps, or low-sodium guidance.
  • Verified newer records field by field where first-party evidence was available and kept unsupported fields unavailable rather than guessing.
  • Synchronized the current U.S. menu: added current limited-time Pollo Asado and Chili Lime Chips, retained Cilantro Lime Sauce as limited-time, and moved Honey Chicken to historical provenance.
  • Updated public pages and current-item references to match the synchronized menu and 160 selectable / 163 tracked record model.
  • Removed contradictory crawler states from fixed meal pages and the Nutrition Facts no-results state.
  • Added accountable public authorship and editorial standards under Muhammad Kamran Latif, Founder & Data Editor.
