About Us
Chipotle Nutrition Calculator is an independent U.S.-focused nutrition calculator and reference website designed to help people understand how customizable restaurant meal choices affect calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, sodium, and other available nutrition values.
The website is available at chipnutcalculator.com.
Independent resource: This website is not operated by, sponsored by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. or its affiliates.
About the Publisher
Muhammad Kamran Latif is the founder and data editor of Chipotle Nutrition Calculator. He maintains the site’s nutrition dataset, reviews menu and nutrition changes against official Chipotle sources, tests calculator updates, and documents corrections, source conflicts, derived values, and unavailable data.
The site’s trust model is intentionally based on independently verifiable first-party sourcing, not invented credentials. Nutrition values are not fabricated when a source does not provide them. See the Editorial Policy, Methodology & Data Sources, and Changelog for the public process.
Why We Built This Website
A customizable restaurant meal does not have one universal nutrition total. A bowl, burrito, salad, taco order, quesadilla, kids meal, or side order can change substantially depending on the ingredients and portions selected.
We built this project to make that information easier to explore through an interactive calculator, searchable nutrition facts, ingredient comparisons, goal-aware guidance, Saved Builds, and supporting guides.
Our Data Approach
The project is focused on the U.S. menu. Our production nutrition dataset is based on official Chipotle nutrition sources, including the March 2025 U.S. Nutrition Facts PDF, an August 2026 review of official U.S. menu nutrition information, and a September 2026 current-menu synchronization.
The current dataset contains 160 selectable nutrition records across 163 tracked records. Of those, 143 are standard active records, 17 are current limited-time records, and 3 Honey Chicken records are retained as historical provenance rather than current choices.
The site is not live-synced with Chipotle. We maintain a local, versioned dataset and periodically review it against official sources.
See Methodology & Data Sources for the full sourcing, calculation, portion, missing-data, and update process.
How the Calculator Works
The calculator estimates a meal total by combining the nutrition values of the ingredients and portions selected.
Different meal types can have different structures. For example, a Burrito includes a flour-tortilla baseline; a Burrito Bowl has no locked tortilla baseline; a Quesadilla uses a quesadilla-specific tortilla and cheese baseline; and Kids Meal contexts keep kid-size items separate from adult portions.
Nutrition goals can change guidance, starter ideas, and suggestions. They do not change the underlying nutrition values.
Privacy by Design
The calculator does not require an account and does not send Saved Builds to our server. Saved Builds and related calculator preferences are stored locally in your browser/device. We do not operate a database of user meal builds.
Clearing browser storage, changing devices, using private browsing, or resetting browser data may remove locally saved builds.
Accuracy and Limitations
The calculator is intended for planning, education, and comparison.
Actual restaurant nutrition can differ because of serving-size variation, preparation, ingredient availability, limited-time menu changes, light/extra/double portions, and future recipe changes.
A missing nutrient value is not treated as a confirmed zero when the reviewed source did not provide that nutrient.
For strict dietary needs, allergies, medical conditions, or final nutrition decisions, users should check current official restaurant information and seek appropriate professional guidance where necessary.
Corrections and Feedback
If you believe a nutrition value, serving size, menu status, or calculator behavior may be incorrect, use Corrections & Nutrition Data Issues.

Editorial Principle
The purpose of this site is to help visitors understand nutrition information and make comparisons more easily—not to impersonate the restaurant, provide medical advice, or present estimates as laboratory measurements.
Where possible, supporting articles use the same production dataset and dynamic widgets as the calculator so nutrition values remain consistent across the site.
